What do you do to find out latest events in your neighborhood?

like concerts, venues, shows, exhibitions etc. (could be a site you visit often, newspaper, or even facebook or myspace group) I use http://www.ticketmaster.com to track concerts. For other events I mainly rely on local newspaper, Local TV Channel, and of course subscribed blogs of people from my neighborhood. Once in a while I also use the social event tracking sites to get more details on the event I already know of. I didn't even know about the existence of yahoo's feature that lets you find out the local events untill now. Looks promising. http://upcoming.yahoo.com .

1. I just key in my city and neighborhood and then get a list of festivals, parades , etc. Thanx for the link to concerts; I guess I'm a lamo, I always waited for the newspaper notices.
