2. scam. Be wary of offers of employment that require you to deposit money into your account and then wire it to a third party. To Avoid scams here is what i tell people... All spam emails/unsolicited phone calls/letters and faxes are scams. As a general rule - ANYTHING involving Western Union/money gram = Scam. my Advice: Don't deal with anyone from a foreign country or Accept checks from strangers and never use wire/bank transfer services.. you risk losing your $$ and your mind. Any checks/Money Order/Correspondences From /Nigeria/Ghana/Africa is Always a scam!!! Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Ignore all Correspondences From /Nigeria/Ghana/Africa!!! NEVER give out your personal information to strangers online or offline! Always be on guard.
3. its a scam, i got one of those too, except the artist was in the U.K and needed me to collect funds etc..... if anyone solicits you to collect money for them and you don't know them, or haven't wrote to them first, its a scam. all the attempts seem to have one thing in common, being the 10% commission you get, thats another sign of a scam, plus the fact that they want all this personal info, im surprised he didn't ask for youre social security number, or bank account number as well.
4. Huge scam. You dont need to to ever give your full name and address online unless you are subscribing. And, anyway...Charles Chalker with his kids, Andrew and little Charlie?? Scam. Not to mention I got almost the same thing in an email to myself.
