Poor dear brave daddy has gone off to join the French Foreign Legion. Is he still British?

It's very brave of daddy to sign up, but how inconvenient as Ricahrd and I are about to attend a museum exhibition with cheese and wine. It might be too late when we come to collect him, and I daren't ask Onslow to collect him in broad daylight as Mrs. Barker-Finch might see them. Is he still British?

9. It depends if he is a wanted criminal or not, in which case they will give him a new idenetity and no one will ever find him again. If not then no he will have to renounce his Britishness.
