Who think Bud Selig is the worst commissioner in all sports?
Ok first he made an exhibition all stars game a deciding factor in home court for the world series. I can't imagine the NHL, NFL, NBA doing that. Then the roid issue got out of hand and he just sit at home in Milwaukee doing nothing. Now he is having the Red Sox & A's play in Japan for their opening and then later in the week, the red sox will play the dodgers as a spring training game, how does that make sense? 2 games count and then 3 days later, those other games will won't count until next week. the worst commissioner ever. baseball will always be up. it's the national pastime and it's not because of this clown.

- Oh, I don't know, Gary Bettman is pretty bad.....
- Never have cared for this man as commissioner.
- I agree, he is an idiot. I will applaud him for not standing or clapping for Barry Bonds "Record Breaking" steroid tainted homerun, but other than that yeah he is a clown.
- I have to agree with you. I stopped paying attention to him when he couldn't just get control of the 'roid situation himself. He's a poor excuse for a leader. Maybe he should run for Congress.
- go ahead and complain but attendance is at an all time high. We now have the wild card which has made the game so dynamic and baseball made a strong comeback after the strike that had people saying baseball in america was over. has he made mistakes? sure. could it have been worse? oh yea.
- I don't like him. But it depends who you ask. Selig is an owner's commissioner. He took over in a pretty ridiculous coup after being the owner of the Brewers. Now revenues are up and interest in baseball seems to be growing nationally. Ticket sales continue to climb with each season. So, for the people who look at baseball as a business, he might be the greatest commissioner of all time. But as for how he runs the sport, some of the decisions in his tenure have made me question how much he cares.
- He's got my vote for the worst . I'm a Brewer fan and I didn't like him as an owner either . He had his whole family on the Brewers payroll and wouldn't spend a dime to field a decent team . He sells the team for a huge profit and now has his family on MLB payroll . Turning his back on the steroid crap for years was the last straw for me .
- Bud Selig is the WORST commissioner in all of sports. Who would ever call an All-Star Game a tie?!?! His position on steriods and illegal substances is horrible and I don't think he knows anything about baseball. His decision to not allow Pete Rose, one of the game's all-time greats, not to be elected into the Hall of Fame is a disgrace to the game. Sure, Pete was wrong, but he eventually knew he was and came forth about it and admitted it. The Hall of Fame is a place for what players do on the field, not off the field.
- Not me! I think he's the worst in all of sports of ALL TIME!!! His main accomplishment: sitting on his hands.
- I agree with you, he's bad!! But, the owners are making record $$$$$$$$ with him, so he's not going anywhere.
