Where can I find out what the most popular sport in America is?

Is their a website I can go to, to find out what sport is the most popular in America? Also, I am doing a History project on the rivalry between Red Sox and Yankees. Would it be appropriate to add on my exhibit "Did You Know's" like Did you know the Yankees is the only baseball team to have 24 World Series wins and Babe Ruth is the first pleyer to hit 60 home runs? Sorry about that. I was using an old timeline. okay. Heres my new question. What sport is most opular in response to a poll?

1. uhm your kinda lost popular based on what? watched or played? and you need to slim down what your report will be on if you had specific topics i would have answers for you
2. Football is the most popular sport, watched... Played, there are so many levels, such as little, middle s., h.s, college, minors, pros. I wouldn't know where to find it... The Yankees have 26 W.S. wins, and the Ruth thing is cool... Yes it would be approriate go yanks(sorry)

5. You do need to be more specific about popular - 1. Popular to play. 2. Popular to watch in person. 3. Popular to watch on TV. 4. Popular - in response to a poll. You might also break down sports by individual events. In the USA, the Superbowl is presumably the single most popular sports even on TV, in the USA. But 40 million people may watch Daytona 500 on TV, which makes it a notable single sporting event.
6. Yeah you should add the "do you knows" to ur project i find it that the more you u talk about the better ur grade will be. And to answer ur question there is no doubt that baseball is most popular sport right now in USA but Football is quickly growing the NBA is not really going anywhere Hockey is mostly played by Whites and Canadians(no offense, but they should have some race variations) and Soccer is also very popular just not in the US SO right now Baseball is the most popular sport in the United States

8. How subjective. If you were to stand out of a NFL football stadium after a game, good chances are you would get an overwhelming response of football being the favorite, and so on and so forth. Enjoy the game because it is what appeals to you and not to others. I personally prefer baseball, it is summer, it is a game of intellect and true stategy. However, I do enjoy football as well.
